Acquisition Specialist

Position Overview

ABR Consulting is seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist to support federal clients in navigating complex procurement processes. This role requires a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations and the ability to provide strategic guidance throughout the contract lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support federal acquisition planning and strategy development
  • Develop and review solicitation documents (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs)
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform acquisition strategies
  • Provide contract administration support, including modifications and performance monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mission alignment
  • Support contract closeout activities and lessons learned documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of federal acquisition experience
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAC-C (Professional) or FAC-COR certification
  • Experience with DoD or civilian agency acquisitions
  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • Active security clearance
